China – An example to follow?

Panel Discussion

🎉 Our first public event brought together over 150 participants for an insightful panel discussion on
🇨🇳“China – An Example to Follow? Strengths and Strains of Efficient Governance” at the University of Zurich.
Our sincere thanks to Prof. Dr. Ralph Weber, Prof. Dr. Jean Christopher Mittelstädt, Bernardino Regazzoni, and Nico Luchsinger for their engaging and nuanced reflections.
Together, they highlighted that China’s governance system, though highly effective, is not necessarily efficient, and its approach is deeply rooted in a specific political and cultural context. At the same time, certain aspects of China’s policy approaches may offer useful perspectives for reflection on governance elsewhere.
🍷 The evening was concluded by a lively Apéro, filled with engaging conversations and new connections.
Many thanks to everyone who joined us and helped make our first public event such a success!
